A small landscape painting in acrylic. It was done

quickly and expressively using a coarse hogs-hair

brush and thick (impasto) paint to create turbulent

brushwork.

The close-up image reveals the texture of the brush

marks - I probably had Vincent Van Gogh in mind when

I painted this one. No crows in this version though.

The scene is on the edge of Darfield just next to

the pig farm at the top of Ardsley hill.
