Media Shamans is the first book cover
I did with Temple Press. We were restricted
to 3 colours (red, black and gold) on white.
The red 3 device refers to the 3 in the title
and is also the Tibetan Buddhist symbol
of the Holy sound "Ah" which is the
manifestation of energy.
I had no access to computers in those
days so the typesetting was done by
Words at Temple Press and the whole
design was cut and pasted by hand.
All the symbols were hand-drawn.
The triangular psychic cross device
was my invention, constructed of 3
single psychic crosses meeting.
I believe that Genesis P-Orridge has
now patented the single psychic cross
as his own trademark.
