Trans:Mediators is the 2nd book
cover design I did with Temple Press
and I think the most successful, having
the right balance of style and menace.
Again the design was restricted to 3
colours (red, black & gold) on white.
The lightening strike symbolises
creative intuition and is also a
tribute to Throbbing Gristle and my
other favourite band at the time, Joy
Division (Unknown Pleasures cover).
As before, Words did the typesetting
and I drew the images, then cut and
pasted the whole thing by hand.
