A Semi-Abstract Watercolour Landscape Painting 

of the Moors in North Yorkshire between Pickering 

and Whitby. I took the original Landscape Reference 

Photograph in broad daylight and 

used a certain amount of Artistic License.

The atmosphere of this Landscape Painting is inspired 

by the music and CD cover of Beautiful Thunder by ambient 

musician Harold Budd (artwork by Russell Mills). 

The Painting is part of a series of similar Landscape 

compositions given different Painterly treatments.
