A Watercolour and Ink Landscape Painting of 

Trafalgar Square in the centre of London in winter 

with Nelson's Column and Christmas tree.

Landscape Drawing & Painting Technique:

The scene was sketchily drawn with a finely pointed

Waterproof Drawing Pen and then light Washes of 

Watercolour were floated over the Ink Drawing. 

The sky is painted with a Wet Into Wet Painting 

Technique allowing Ultramarine Blue and Burnt Sienna 

to blend together giving the impression of an impending 

sunset.
